Verification Engineer

We are now specifically looking for contributors for our upcoming research projects in the areas of CPU design and verification.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive verification plans for RISC-V processor designs and associated hardware components
- Implement and maintain verification environments using industry-standard tools and methodologies
- Design and develop reusable verification components and test benches to accelerate verification efforts
- Collaborate closely with the design team to identify and address functional issues and ensure design correctness
- Analyze and debug failures to drive continuous improvement in verification processes
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in verification methodologies and contribute to the adoption of best practices within the team
- Contribute to the development of open source projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Solid understanding of digital design concepts, particularly related to processor architecture and hardware description languages (Verilog, SystemVerilog)
- Experience with industry-standard verification methodologies (UVM, OVM, VMM) and tools (Questasim, VCS, ModelSim)
- Experience with open source verification tools (Verilator, Cocotb) is desirable
- Familiarity with RISC-V architecture and its ecosystem is desirable
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, TCL) for automation and tool development
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
